Can we omit a specific disclosure requirement or data point from reporting?
Yes, you can omit a specific disclosure requirement or data point from reporting and there are two ways you can omit them.
- Topics Level (using the "Edit Topics" button)
- To omit a specific disclosure requirement, select “Edit Topics” from the Topics selection card within the Overview tab. Deselect the disclosure requirements you wish to exclude, then select “Save ESRS topics.”
Info: The omitted disclosure requirement will not appear in the report.
- Data Point Level
- In the checklist flyout, click the ellipsis to access the “Omit” option.
- When a data point is omitted, it will appear with strikethrough formatting.
- To restore an omitted data point, click the ellipsis for the relevant data point and select “Restore.”
If you have omitted the disclosure requirement by mistake, it is always possible to restore it by selecting the disclosures from ESRS Topics page.
If you want to see the omitted disclosures, you can check “Show omitted disclosure requirement.” The omitted disclosure requirement will be greyed out and labelled as “Omitted.”
